The Bible Baptist Church in Glasgow > What should I expect?
What will happen when I come to your services?
We want you to experience a great time as you hear from God’s Word and meet friendly people. We are a vibrant, growing church with a passion to see people saved and transformed by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. We care very deeply about people and where they will spend eternity. We know that first-time visits to any church raise many questions and concerns and we want to be there to answer them.
When the meeting begins we will sing some songs together. We use the Redemption Hymnal as we seek to worship and glorify God through our praise. We do not sing contemporary songs.
We love Bible preaching. A message is preached in an expository manner from God’s Word that folks of any age can understand. If you have any questions we would love to hear from you.
How long will the service last?
Our services usually last about an hour or so. The morning service starts at 11:00 am and will finish around 12 noon.
Do I have to give money?
No. You are not expected to give money as a visitor. Just pass the offering basket on to the next person. We want to be a blessing to you!
What should I wear?
Don’t worry too much about what to wear. Some people like to dress smartly, others prefer casual, some people even prefer somewhere in between!
